Delivery Verification Policy

To protect our customers and help prevent unauthorized deliveries, Scooter Ave requires identity verification before any vehicle, electric bike, mobility scooter, golf cart, accessory, or merchandise is released through local delivery.
Purchaser Verification
The purchaser information submitted with the order must be accurate and complete. Scooter Ave reserves the right to contact the purchaser to verify customer name, billing information, delivery address, contact information, and order details.
Photo Identification Required
A valid government-issued photo ID is required for all local deliveries. Acceptable identification includes a driver’s license, state identification card, passport, or military identification.
The name on the photo ID must match the purchaser information associated with the order.
Delivery Release Requirements
Before releasing any order, Scooter Ave may verify purchaser identity, delivery address, contact information, order details, and payment authorization status.
Orders may be delayed or canceled if Scooter Ave is unable to verify purchaser information or delivery recipient identity.
Authorized Recipients
Orders will only be released to the verified purchaser unless prior authorization has been approved by Scooter Ave.
Delivery Signature
A signature may be required upon delivery. The signature confirms that the order was received in acceptable condition and delivered to the verified recipient.
Right To Refuse Delivery
Scooter Ave reserves the right to refuse delivery if:
- Identification cannot be provided
- Identification does not reasonably match purchaser information
- Fraudulent activity is suspected
- Payment authorization concerns exist
- Delivery information cannot be verified
