Manufacturer Warranty
Scooter Ave proudly stands behind the products we sell. New vehicles purchased from Scooter Ave may include a manufacturer’s warranty provided directly by the vehicle manufacturer.
Warranty coverage varies by manufacturer and product type. Most new vehicles include warranty coverage ranging from six (6) months to one (1) year from the original date of purchase. Specific warranty terms, coverage periods, and exclusions are determined by the manufacturer.
Eligible products may include:
- Scooters
- E-Bikes
- Golf Carts
- Dirt Bikes
- ATVs
- Motorcycles
- Electric Mobility Vehicles
If a warranty issue arises during the manufacturer’s warranty period, Scooter Ave will work directly with both the customer and the manufacturer to assist in obtaining approved replacement parts and completing authorized warranty repairs whenever applicable.
Manufacturer warranties apply only to eligible new vehicles and do not extend to parts, accessories, apparel, riding gear, or other retail merchandise unless specifically stated by the manufacturer.
Service Warranty
Scooter Ave provides a thirty (30) day workmanship warranty on service and repair work performed by our service department.
If a concern develops within thirty (30) days of a repair or service performed by Scooter Ave, the customer must return the vehicle to our dealership for inspection and diagnosis.
Our technicians will evaluate the vehicle to determine whether the concern is related to the original repair or whether another issue is present.
The workmanship warranty applies only to the labor and services performed by Scooter Ave and does not automatically extend to replacement parts supplied by third-party manufacturers.
Off-Road Vehicle Warranty Policy
Off-road vehicles, including dirt bikes, ATVs, and similar off-road-use products, do not carry a manufacturer warranty unless specifically stated otherwise by the manufacturer at the time of purchase.
However, Scooter Ave provides a thirty (30) day dealer-backed inspection period from the original purchase date for new off-road vehicles purchased from our dealership.
If a customer experiences a problem during this thirty (30) day period, they must contact Scooter Ave and return the vehicle for inspection. Our technicians will evaluate the vehicle to determine the cause of the issue.
If Scooter Ave determines that the issue was caused by a defective component, manufacturing defect, or a condition that existed at the time of sale, repairs may be performed at no charge to the customer at Scooter Ave’s discretion.
This inspection period does not cover:
- Racing or competition use
- Performance modifications or aftermarket tuning
- Abuse, misuse, or neglect
- Crash or impact damage
- Improper maintenance
- Normal wear and tear items
- Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications
Any modification intended to increase performance, alter factory settings, bypass safety systems, or change the vehicle from its original factory configuration may void any applicable warranty coverage or dealer-backed protection.
Warranty Inspection Requirement
To determine warranty eligibility, vehicles must be returned to Scooter Ave for inspection.
Warranty claims cannot be approved without allowing our technicians to inspect and diagnose the vehicle.
Customers are responsible for transporting the vehicle to and from the dealership unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Exclusions
The following items and conditions are not covered under Scooter Ave’s service warranty:
- Normal wear and tear
- Tires
- Brake pads and brake shoes
- Cosmetic damage
- Damage caused by accidents
- Abuse or misuse
- Neglect or improper maintenance
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Damage caused by installation of non-approved parts or accessories
Manufacturer warranty exclusions are determined by the manufacturer and may vary by brand and product.
